The BGA's glove design competition has now been running since 1975. Its purpose is to encourage students to create practical yet original glove designs. The judges look for designs that show a commercial aspect in respect of the ease of manufacture and sell-ability.

The British Glove Association, in collaboration with the Worshipful Company of Glovers, has announced details of its 2008 Design Competitions.
