Dents Trends
Once again, British Glove Association member, Dents is leading the fashion trends with beautiful designs and stunning colourways in its new glove collection for autumn and winter 2006.
This year the new Dents glove collection has been designed to complement four very different themes that are leading the trend this winter: Art and Crafts; La Belle Epoque; Country Eccentrics and the Sculpted look.
The Arts and Crafts collection features vivid, expressive clashes of colour with rich patterns and dramatic textures. Look for gloves in teal, rich saturated ochre, plum, spruce, deep crimsons and beautiful heather shades, and gloves with patterns backs and added colour detail.
In La Belle Epoque is based on romance, on faded winter colours which epitomise simplicity and femininity. Look for soft knits and gentle colours - Dents’ beautiful soft rose and duck egg knitted gloves trimmed with wide pearl wrists are the perfect example of this wonderful new look.
Dents Country Eccentrics collection is a taste of old England expressed through confident, burnished and classic combinations. Accompany this look with beautiful leather classic gloves in shades of sage, spruce, port and cognac. Look for additional styling and classic leathers with contrasting tweed or decorative trims.
The Sculpted Look emphasises the importance of the power of black and white and firm design for endless chic. Graphic prints and weaves add elegance and drama to day wear. Houndstooth check will be a favourite along with glossy velvets. Look for co-ordinating and complementing elegant long leather gloves and velvet gloves in dramatic shades.
And of course Dents hasn’t forgotten the traditional fashion favourite gloves in beautiful plain leathers, knits, cottons, velvets and satins, and the new Dents range includes some exciting new styles and shades to ensure all Dents gloves will be a real fashion statement for winter 2006.
