Keith Brown, Bennett Safetywear's Sales Representative for the South and South-East, has been awarded a Certificate of Merit for Long Service to the gloving industry by the Worshipful Company of Glovers of London.
The Certificate, for 25 years' service, was presented to Keith by the Master of the Glovers' Company, Stephen Brooker, at a prestigious awards luncheon held at the Mansion House, London.
Keith has worked for Bennett Safetywear since 1989 having previously worked for a fabric glove manufacturer. He had been involved with selling gloves made by Vaughan Tapscott’s of Torrington (now part of Sudburys). In 1989, when the factory was bought by Bennett Safetywear, they offered Keith the position of selling industrial gloves in the south east, which he has continued to do to this day.
Commenting on the award, Keith sayd: "I can’t believe 25 years have passed and had to be reminded by director, David Bennett that it was indeed the case. As they say, time flies when you are having fun. Thanks to all those involved in making my presentation a very special day, now and for the next 25 years."
