BLAZEMASTER® CONTRACT
Bennett Safetywear Ltd, the Merseyside-based manufacturer of high performance hand protection and other specialised personal protective equipment, has been awarded the regional contract for the supply of structural fire-fighting gloves to the UK's North West Fire and Rescue Services.
This is the first contract for its newly-launched BLAZEMASTER® PRO-FIT™ glove, the latest addition to its
well-established BLAZEMASTER® range of firefighting gloves. Utilising the very best quality materials,
sourced within the UK, the BLAZEMASTER® PRO-FIT™ offers high levels of protection against the various
hazards routinely encountered in structural fire-fighting, combined with exceptional dexterity and flexibility.
Commenting on the award David Bennett, Bennett Safetywear's Managing Director, said “We were delighted to win this prestigious contract, after a lengthy tendering process, in the face of strong competition from other well-known brands. We plan to use this success as a springboard to develop the range further and grow our firefighting glove business both within the UK and overseas.
Bennett Safetywear Ltd was founded in 1937 and has manufacturing facilities in Crosby (Liverpool) and St
Helens. It produces a wide range of hand protection for police, military, emergency services and industrial
applications.
