Studies have concluded that 12% of healthcare workers show a physiological reaction to the accelerators used in the manufacture of nitrile gloves.

BM Polyco’s previous manufacturing process for nitrile gloves, involved the addition of chemical accelerators and then the extraction of most of the unused accelerators at a later point in the process.

Now, a new manufacturing process, allows us to produce nitrile gloves without using chemical accelerators at any stage.

The nitrile rubber used to manufacture Indigo is specially formulated to provide a softer material with increased elasticity and an improved feel, while maintaining a tensile strength which is comparable to natural rubber.

It contains none of the proteins that may cause Type I allergic reaction to natural rubber and none of the accelerators that may cause Type IV reactions.

The advanced polymer technology and unique shaped formers used in the manufacture of Indigo deliver a glove with a much improved fit.
